UPRISE Joins the NSC Community

We are proud to announce that we have joined the Network for Safety and sustainability of Chemicals and materials (NSC Community), a vibrant and growing community that brings together European initiatives dedicated to advancing safe and sustainable innovation.

Over the past decade, the NSC has developed a strong identity as a collaborative platform that connects research projects, fosters knowledge exchange, and supports the translation of scientific outcomes into policy and practice. By becoming part of this community, UPRISE strengthens its commitment to contributing to a more coherent, ambitious, and impactful European landscape for Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) research.

A Strengthened Community for Impact

The NSC aims to scale its outreach and enhance communication between its member projects, stakeholders, regulators, and policy-makers. Effective communication plays a crucial role in ensuring that research outputs are not only shared but also integrated into real-world applications. UPRISE is fully aligned with this mission and looks forward to supporting an active, structured exchange within the network.

Welcomed in the November 2025 NSC Update

In its latest community update (November 2025), the NSC warmly welcomed UPRISE among several highlights across working groups, project news, publications, and upcoming opportunities. We are delighted to be part of such a dynamic environment and appreciate being featured alongside so many valuable initiatives contributing to the field.

Looking Ahead

As UPRISE becomes an active member of the NSC Community, we look forward to engaging with fellow projects, participating in working groups, and contributing to shared efforts that will help shape the future of SSbD methodologies, tools, and practices.

We invite colleagues and interested stakeholders to explore the NSC community and join its mailing list to stay updated on upcoming activities and events.
