AXON, an independent consulting firm specializing in environmental management, has been at the forefront of air pollution and climate change issues since 1997. Utilizing advanced modelling techniques, AXON provides high-level support to policymakers, helping identify air pollutant sources, assess pollution levels, and develop effective mitigation strategies. The firm has successfully undertaken projects for the Hellenic Ministry of Environment, regional governments, and the EU. 

As part of the UPRISE project, AXON plays a key role in: 
a) describing and understanding UFPs levels and identifying their emission sources, 
b) supporting the development of new regulations and guidelines, and 
c) providing policymakers at EU, national, and local levels with simulation-based insights to mitigate harmful UFP and MNP pollution.
